Long weekend. Phooey.

Friday I was in the fish tank helping a client till 7:30PM. I spent the rest of the evening listening to my headphones. I need to buy some new music. I was not in good moods.

Saturday morning I drove the sis to the airport because SHE was heading out of town for the long weekend. Then I went to the bank to deposit my paycheck, bought some weed-digging tool for the madre from Lee Valley Tools, bought some chicken beryani for lunch and went running in the afternoon. I rented Bowling for Columbine but haven’t watched it yet. I put in some of the new guts for the CD player and somehow managed to stay up till 3:00AM. I watched the movie Red Dawn twice on the History Channel. Why is it on the History Channel? I don’t recall Russia invading the U.S. in the eighties. I don’t think Patrick Swayze has aged since the eighties.

Sunday went with the madre to Chartwell for lunch and groceries. I went for a trail run in the afternoon. I’m having trouble downloading porn. Lavalife is utterly hopeless. Soldered in more guts for the CD player and managed to stay up till 3:00AM again.

Monday was pretty much doing nothing at all. I walked around all day in my pajamas. I found a site for a tube pre-amp and started to source out the parts for it. Bad idea because I’m still on a spending freeze for another two weeks. Somehow I managed to spend the whole day on the computer. Geez, no wonder I’m single.
