weird stuff

Thursday, May. 06, 2004 - 10:01 a.m.

So yesterday I’m driving home from work. El presidente is out of town and the manager left early so I left at 6:00PM. Not 2 minutes away from the office I’m stopped at the lights. I hear tires screech. On my left I see a car coming to a really quick stop. Before the car even stopped the front passenger door was opened and I see a woman with her leg already out of the car. I’m thinking WTF? When the car finally stopped, I saw the woman trying to get out while the male driver grabbed her pulling her back in. They struggled for a couple seconds and somehow the door got closed and he sped off running the red light. I was kinda stunned. I considered jotting down the license plate and calling the police. It was probably a domestic. Like most everyday people going about doing their own thing, I chose not to get involved and did nothing. I hope she is okay.

After all that I went to the bank at the mall close to my house. Someone was stabbed in the parking lot yesterday. He’ll live.

I had a really good run yesterday. I felt like I could run forever. Must be all the pasta I've been eating lately.

The sis got the CDs I ordered for her birthday. Her birthday is not till next week. I mentioned to her that she could consider taking kickboxing. That seems to be kinda trendy with women recently. The whole fitness and self defense thing.

Driving to work this morning I almost ran over a squirrel. At least I think I almost ran over a squirrel because I didn’t feel the car running over or hitting anything. I wasn’t going to cause an accident by slamming on the brakes or swerving to avoid a squirrel. It would be different if it was a person.

Ten minutes ago I looked outside and saw a coworker cleaning the windows on her car. Weird stuff.
