nightshift 2

Weirdness. Last night, actually this morning, I had a dream that I was dating a blind girl. How whacked is that? Not that I have anything against dating a blind girl.

Yeah so night shift is going pretty well but now I’ve kinda got my dates and times mixed up. Like when I say last night, do I mean last night as in the hours before midnight or last night as in the previous workday? But the previous workday overlaps yesterday and the day before that, so “last night” could mean two days ago. It’s all messed up.

Anyway, Wednesday morning I got home at 7:30AM and woke up at around 1:30PM and was back at work at 4:00PM. Yeah, I don’t know what happened to the 4:00PM to midnight, 8-hour shift. That was more like a 16-hour night and graveyard shift. This morning was better, we left at around 2:30AM and I slept till 11:00AM. I even got my hair cut and bought some magazines before heading to work. The good thing about working nightshift is that the office is empty and quiet and I can surf without trying to hide it. I get along with the project team leader, the only other person working nightshift, so it’s not even lonely. And hopefully we’ll get a nice fat bonus for all this hard work.
